The Oontz Angle 3 bluetooth speaker by Cambridge SoundWorks is the speaker I chose from an article I posted earlier (you can view the article HERE). My Macbook Pro’s speakers got busted and I do not have the time (and the money) to get them repaired/replaced and I figured that a small bluetooth speaker will do the job for the meantime. It was a wise decision for me.
Cambridge SoundWorks is a Massachusetts-based consumer audio manufacturer and retailer. Cambridge SoundWorks is a familiar company to me as it was one of the earliest manufacturers of speakers for personal computers. It was founded in 1988 by Henry Kloss, an audio engineer and businessman.

Design and Construction of the Oontz Angle 3
The Oontz Angle 3 has a triangular shape and is designed to be used in both horizontal and vertical positions. The speaker grills come available in 3 color choices (black, red and blue).
The right side has the buttons for Bluetooth, Volume Up/Down and Play/Pause.
The power button, micro-USB charging port and AUX-in are located at the back. There is a plastic flap that acts a cover to protect the micro-USB charging port and AUX-in from water splashes. The microphone is on the top side.
Sound Quality
Even though the speaker is small, the sound that comes out is good. Two drivers deliver clean clear highs and mids. The bass radiator delivers enhanced bass output. The triangular design separates the drivers from the bass radiator ensuring enhanced audio clarity.
Loud Volume
The Oontz Angle 3 could be played loud. It is distortion free even at maximum volume. It has 10 watts of peak output power that can fill an average size room with high quality sound.
Weatherproof
No worries about the rain or getting splashed as it is IPX5 Certified Water Resistant. The IPX5 certification test consists of low pressure water projected by a nozzle from all directions, without resulting in a harmful effect to the speaker. However, it is not submersible and should never be placed in or under water, this could result in irreparable damage to the speaker. Now you can listen to music while in the shower. It is also perfect for taking to the beach or by the pool.
Highly Portable
The Oontz Angle 3 is light at approximately 250 grams. It is 5.25 Inches long (13.3 cm), 2.6 inches (6.6 cm) high and 2.8 inches (7.11 cm) wide. Its 2200 mAH battery plays up to 12 hours on a full charge at approximately 2/3 of the maximum volume. The Oontz Angle 3 can be played horizontally or vertically.
Hands Free
The Oontz Angle 3 could also be used as a wireless speaker for your iPhone or Smartphone when connected over Bluetooth using the built in microphone.
Easy to Use
Connect to your iPhone, Smartphone and Tablet quickly in just a few seconds over bluetooth. It can also be used for Chromebooks, Windows 7-8 systems, Macs, TVs and non-Bluetooth devices using the included 3.5mm audio cable connected to the AUX-IN jack. The rechargeable battery charges using the included Micro USB cable, connected to a USB wall charger (not included) or from your computer.

Conclusion
The OontZ Angle 3 is a bluetooth speaker that has big sound in a small package. It has a rugged build. It is water and dust resistant. It is not perfect and will not compete with bigger and more expensive portable speakers. The Oontz Angle 3 is a best buy if you are budget conscious.
