Joel C. Rosenberg writes bestselling novels and nonfiction books about the Middle East. The New York Times names him a bestselling author several times. He founded The Joshua Fund, a nonprofit group that supports Israel and its neighbors. His father comes from an Orthodox Jewish background. His mother is Gentile. This mix shapes much of his writing. Rosenberg has worked closely with major political figures. These include Steve Forbes and former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He also advised former Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Natan Sharansky. His novel The Ezekiel Option won the Gold Medallion Award for Best Novel in 2006. Hundreds of radio and television programs have interviewed him. Two of his nonfiction books, Epicenter and Inside the Revolution, became documentary films. Rosenberg lives near Washington, DC, with his wife and four sons.
