Transcend DrivePro 50
From the top of the line, we go into the entry model for Transcend. It comes with a 16gb memory card. It is a stripped down model with no real features, not even an LCD display. But you still get the standard accesories and most of the money spent here is on the quality of the video recording. The video is impressive and is very clear and is even as good as the Transcend DrivePro 520 but you are missing out on all the other features like dual cameras of course. One key feature that I miss here is the GPS. I only say that because you do not get a speed readout and whenever you are involved in an accident and you want to prove how fast you were going, you will not be able to do that with this camera. That’s about the only feature that I think is lacking with this camera so you may want to consider a better model. But if you don’t need those features, this is a fantastic entry level model camera. It also comes with WiFi so that you can actually check your video and share, stream and download straight from your mobile device. You still get the excellent night recording with the ƒ/1.8 apperture same as the top of the line Transcend DrivePro 520. It still has the 130° angle view so it covers most of the hood; it could be a little bit more wider but again you have to spend a little bit more for that.

The DrivePro 50’s built-in G-Sensor instantly triggers the Emergency Recording mode when it detects an impact during recording.
