Hello and welcome to This Grandpa Blogs and thank you so much for stopping by.  My name is Mike Aenlle and that is a photo of  me.

I have been married since 1993 and have three children.  January 2016 brought me my first grandchild, a pretty little girl we call Ria.

I have always been fascinated with blogging and started this blog to prove that you are never too old to learn new things.  That is also  the reason behind this blog’s name.

What do I write about?  I love to read books ever since I was a kid.  I post book reviews to share my thoughts about the books that I have read.  I have a page, All Things Books, where I document the books that I have read over the years.  I update this page every time I finish a new book.  Please check it out and you might find a book that you would like to read.  I love to cook for the family and this blog is an opportunity to share recipes and prove that if I can do it, you can do it too!  I am not a great cook but I do know how to follow instructions.  I am a geek by nature and from time to time will post about gadgets that I recommend.  Will also share snippets about life in general.
